You have questions? Well, you've come to the right place because we have all the answers! Here's what you need to know before you auction our Safari Package.
So, What Exactly is on Offer?
To assist you in your next fundraising benefit auction, the owners of Zulu Nyala Game Lodge and Heritage Safari
Lodge are donating luxury photo safari packages to your organization.
In short, the package is valued at $5,950 and includes a 6-night stay for 2 people at Zulu Nyala Heritage Safari
Lodge or Hemmingway Tented Camp in Hluhluwe, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.

How does it Work?
The Zulu Nyala group are offering you an unlimited amount of photo safari packages for you to auction off at your
charity auction. There is a minimum bid on each package of US$ 3,000, but if they don't sell you don't owe us
anything!
When the packages are sold, the proceeds are split 50/50 with the Zulu Nyala Group.
We do not require any money upfront from your organization. Once the packages have been sold and the successful
bidders have paid your organization, there is a 30-day period from the date of the auction in which your
organization must pay the Zulu Nyala Group 50% of the value the package was sold for at the auction.
** Please note: Your winning bidders will only be able to book their stay with us once we have received payment in
full from your organization.
How do we pay Zulu Nyala?
Please collect payment for the package from the winner/s. Then once the payment/s have cleared, please arrange to pay 50% of the funds to Zulu Nyala.
*No further deductions or fees should be deducted from Zulu Nyala's half of the proceeds. As of the Ist of July 2022, South African banks are no longer accepting any foreign checks. Therefore, any of the following payment methods will be acceptable: Credit Card / Wire Transfer / PayPal

What is the Preferred Payment Option for Zulu Nyala?
Credit Card:
You can pay by credit card, but please be aware that the actual amount deducted will be marginally different to the
amount authorized. This happens because we can't put a US$ amount through in South Africa, so we use the exchange
rate n the day to convert the charge into South African Rand.
Your bank then converts the Rand amount back into US$, so the dollar amount deducted will vary because the banks
always buy and sell currency at different rates.

What if we cannot sell the trip for US$ 3,000 per couple?
If the Photo Safari sold at auction for below US$ 3,000 per package, you may send Zulu Nyala the required US$ 1,500 minimum per package and keep the balance.
Are we allowed to re-sell the package/s?
No, the organization may not resell the packages. However, the winning bidders may re-donate their package, however,
a transfer fee of US$ 110 is payable and the existing expiry date will apply (two years from the original auction
date).
** Please note: If Zulu Nyala did not received payment for the original package then the trip is invalid and cannot
be resold, extended or transferred **
Can we refer the trip to other organizations/events?
You are more than welcome to refer the package to other organizations, in fact we encourage you to do so!

Can standard rooms be upgraded?
Standard rooms can be upgraded to suites.
Guests are to please enquire about pricing and availability of suites with photosafariezulunyala.com when booking.
Which methods are available for selling the trip?
Many organizations offer the package during an auction- silent auctions, live auctions, online auctions or by raffle.
